"In this valley, a storm is imminent, a storm that results in the clash of the century. Professionals meet renegades, garage-built off-roaders meet factory-built off-roaders, and the valley's peaceful tranquility will be uprooted. The stage is set, a storm is brewing, the land braces itself. Welcome, to MotorStorm!"
Johnson Valley, California is one of the main locations of the North American Dream Pack and also the starting location of MotorStorm: King of the Hammers.
Zones[]
The Hills[]
Up here is where you can get away from the sweltering heat, all while getting a nice-ass view of the entire valley, and have some brutally technical trails, where all types of vehicles would rage through. Just be careful though, as the ground is hard enough to make your suspension bottom out and potentially make you roll over.
The Festival[]
Aw crap...it seems that the protest group headed by Gretchen Falkenberg and Giles Cromey have managed to track us down. They're now picketing outside of our Festival Site, like they did in the Pandrosia and Fendrana Festivals, as well as back during the North American Dream Tour. Don't worry, we have the KOH's event organizers who hired private security to keep them in line, but we also unfortunately have the San Bernardino county sheriffs present. While those idiots are getting subdued by the security guards and the cops when they get aggressive, take a break from all the blow-by-blow action and get stoned, or have a beer and some grub and chill with the 'Stormers and the off-road pros. We've got everything, from pit barbecues, to all the bands playing, to fairground rides, all the way to a full-fledged car meet.
The Rocks[]
Here comes a place where the bigger classes would shine, as this hill is full of sharp rocks that only the right vehicles can take. Out here, only the meanest and craziest of the meanest and craziest will survive. The rocks are slippery, but not covered in mud, but still, this zone creates some of the craziest and most brutally technical places in MotorStorm.
The Dunes[]
Here we are, where anything with jacked-up suspension would have a blast launching off of, where the Super Buggies and the regular Buggies would feel at home. But still, this zone houses some pretty hefty jumps that any class can take, despite it's still easy to get bogged down in the sand.
The Desert[]
This place of scorching sand and searing hot winds is where it all gets real, both during the day and night. Pack some sunscreen and radiator coolant, as this desert is unforgiving and relentless.
