Giles Cromey

This dude, one Giles Cromey by name, joined Christianity because he wanted to feel entitled and claim moral superiority over other people who aren't like him. That s@#$head doesn't seem to realize that acting this way goes against Christ's teachings. He has the balls to gloat about he's morally superior to us 'Stormers because of MotorStorm's devil-may-care attitude and the hedonism that goes on during the Festival. We're willing to admit that we ain't exactly goody two-shoes saints, but we do have our standards, unlike that self-righteous Bible-thumper. He says that we're going to Hell? Well, we could say the same about him! As they said it in "The Devil Comes Back to Georgia"; "The Sin of Pride," the Devil cried, "is what'll do you in!"

Giles Cromey is a non-'Stormer OC created by JustAlex93. He is first introduced in MotorStorm: Return to the Wild.

Essentially a modern-day Pharisee, he believes himself to be superior to most other people. This is mostly on the basis of being a Christian who attends church every Sunday and reads the Bible at any chance he gets.

Thing is, however, he isn't too well-liked by the other men and women who attend the same church he does, and even the clergymen frown upon his hubris and his evangelical "fire-and-brimstone" approach to everything.

Ostensibly, he is disgusted with the carefree spirit and hedonism of the MotorStorm Festival, what with some people there doing drugs or drinking booze or eating large portions of food. 

So, he formed a protest group (joined by Gretchen Falkenberg and her followers even though he very much dislikes her for her autism) demanding for MotorStorm to be banned, and in his case, on the grounds of it being totally un-Christian.

By far, his efforts have been unsuccessful, because not very many people, even other sensible-minded Christians, take him seriously enough. The reason being is that he exalts himself before God, an act of arrogance which itself is un-Christian.

The more spiritually-minded 'Stormers see him and his protest group as nuisances and disgraces. The Phantromedas aren't too fond of him, either. Not only for his attitude, but they also believe that the Abrahamic God is a false deity compared to the gods that they themselves worship.

Giles and his protest group, along with Gretchen and a number of her followers, are usually seen protesting outside the fences of the Festival Site in Pandrosia. He can be interacted with while you're in On-Foot Mode.
