"Ah, the Door Slammers. The last race cars with doors and one of the last types of race cars with personality. They are ultra fun to race on curvy tracks, despite having small engines. Even then, and surprisingly, they can do pretty damn well on certain uneven terrains and give a Rally Car a run for its money, granted you can keep up with it. Their engines aren't all that big, but they have nearly as much power as a good ol'-fashioned V8."
Door Slammers are a fanonical vehicle class appearing in MotorStorm: Return to the Wild. Most of these vehicles are classified as rear wheel drive Superminis, with the durability of a Rally Car that has the acceleration of a Muscle Car.
Generally the cars classify as 60's and 70's rally cars, small engined trans-am race cars, and Group 4 race cars
In Untamed Tundra, a majority of the Door Slammers class were reclassified as Carlo Runners
